ABOUT 1781 GROUP
Quote from 1781 founder, Brad - "The name of the company reflects the calendar year of the American and French Siege of Yorktown. Though not the end of our war for independence from King George III's rule, Cornwallis's surrender that year marked the functional end of the war. I happen to live about 100 yards from the first siege line. It is sacred ground to me, and I am honored and humbled to be able to walk my two Pointers around the battlefield every day.
The symbology is apt. I want to contribute to the liberty and free exercising of our God-given rights, for all the citizens of this great nation. I tread the hallowed ground of it's beginnings every day.
I have been very fortunate over the years to have trained with, and been trained by, some very talented individuals. I have learned much, and have been able to apply some of those skills in service to my country. It is time to put that knowledge and experience to work...
I am looking only to give back... Give back to my country. Give back to my community, and it's First Responders... Provide hard-working citizens with the tools and skills necessary to exercise their God-given rights. The right to be secure in their persons and their home. To defend what is precious."
If you are looking to be "entertained", this is not the training for you.
If you are looking for "advanced skills" training... well, since there is no such thing as "advanced skills" (there are only fundamentals, executed flawlessly under increasing levels of duress), sorry...
If you want safe, effective, thoughtful training that is grounded in well-honed and effortless execution of fundamental principles, performed under progressively more difficult circumstances, then1781Group can help achieve your training goals.
"I believe in teaching principles. From these well-understood principles are built individual processes and techniques. Note the word "individual" - There are very few absolutes when it comes to techniques. Strive to find what works best for YOU.
Each student takes in information differently, and via different pathways. An instructor should be able to diagnose student requirements immediately, and apply knowledge in a targeted manner, based on assessment of the the student. That is my modus."
